Dependent Or Just Avid

I really enjoy looking at this piece. The amount of contrast is perfect; the darkness of the drink, paired with the darkness of the hair, has a wonderful balance to this picture. The shading on the mouth and the straw is amazing as well, and it works well with the minimal shading of other elements, drawing your eye at the beginning to the face and the drink. With the addition of the different elements of color and geometric shapes, your eye wanders around the entire image and finds something new to look at each time. It seems like there are several different stories embedded in this, and you did a wonderful job of capturing all of them.
